Taster

Nose: High lactone notes and a sweetly direct character.Becomes spicy with cassia, sandalwood, even a hint of\rpatchouli. Hey man,it's a hippy whisky.

Palate: Chocolate is very far forward here then fresh mint.Becomes dry and grippy, black cherry damson and tannin.

Finish: Stewed builder's tea and black fruits.

Comment: Attractive nose, but the grip obliterates any charm.

Score: 6.9

Taster

Nose: Sour fruit. Big spices. Floral. Hyacinth, narcissus. Opens on exotic fruit. Pomegranate, candied pineapple.\rRich like an ol d dark rum.Complex and enticing

Palate: The same rum character. Sweet, sensual. Opulent.Beautiful texture.

Finish: Long,sweet and exotic.

Comment: What a strange whisky.\rTastes more like a rum from Guyana than a whisky. A bourbon coming from the Carribean?
