Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: Incredibly fruity: melon, lychee, peach, kiwi. Gentle and soft; very light oak, a hint of smoke.

Palate: Good grip balanced by that fruit salad that runs from start to finish. Soft and plump with enough zestiness to stop it being flabby.

Finish: Long, drying.

Comment: Bowmore? Where's the smoke? Who cares, this is a beautiful whisky.

Score: 8.3

Taster

Nose: Very aromatic. Fruity. Smoky. Ortega grape.

Palate: Light to medium. Firm. Slippery smooth. Ripe banana. Pineapple. Grape.

Finish: Fragrant smoky dryness. Ferny. Just a hint of the sea.

Comment: Fresh, very drinkable. Doesn't remotely taste it's age.
