ABV 42%
The nose is shy but the palate delivers. A pleasant springtime dram, better appreciated neat.

Nose: Restrained. Reminds of a garden scents after a heavy shower in summer. Faint note of honeysuckle. \r
Palate: Sweet, citrussy and grassy. Lemon tea. Blossom orange honey. Drying on a ginger note.
Finish: Medium long, dry and spicy.
Comment: The nose is shy but the palate delivers. A pleasant springtime dram, better appreciated neat.

Taster
Nose: Upside down pudding, Lyle's Golden Syrup, Crunchie Nut Cornflakes and milk chocolate. Some dried apricots, too.
Palate: More dried fruit, with the balance between this grain spirit and the fruity nature of the oak cask almost perfect. Enough savoury spice balanced with enough vanilla sweetness. \r
Finish: A little leathery, with nutmeg, but the dried fruit, coconut and tropical fruits last to leaving a mouth-watering finish.
Comment: Leaves the taste of a handful of Jelly Belly jelly beans in the mouth.
Score: 9.1
