Tasting Notes

Nose

Generous and rich: stewed peach/apricot, honey, heather, moist buttered sultana cake, some sulphur/burnt matches and even some smoke.

Palate

Medium to full-bodied. Ripe, sweet fruits with excellent honeyed concentration which slowly becomes nuttier and a little smoky. Big and powerful with great balance.

Finish

Liquorice and vanilla.

Comment

One of the great ignored classics of Speyside.
