ABV 61%
A strong character with a Deep South aromatic profile. I found the nose more convincing than the palate, still a bit spirit for me. But there are aficionados for flaming drams.

Nose: Intense. Sweet. Pecan pie. Maple syrup. Nutty. A touch of chocolate and nuts\rbar. On time, prunes and sultanas.
Palate: Smooth at first but getting harsh and dry. The initial sweetness is followed by a spicy outburst then sweet fruit come back, soothing the spicy warmth.
Finish: Dry, spicy, with a nutty aftertaste.
Comment: A strong character with a Deep South aromatic profile. I found the nose more convincing than the palate, still a bit spirit for me. But there are aficionados for flaming drams.

Taster
Nose: Fruit cake and mulberry. Very rum like with resin and lots of barley sugar.
Palate: That rummy note continues - into Savanna Grand Arome territory - with\rall the scented exoticism of Indian Ocean spices. Thick and sugary.
Finish: Tart.
Comment: Another which shows real promise. Just needs more integration to lose the\rrawness. Have patience guys!
