Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Punchy and grassy. Almost damp leaves with a sweet barely sugar edge to them. Reminds me of cricket bats for some reason.

Palate: Very sweet,a light sherry edge with good tongue coating qualities. A suggestion of toasted wood in there too.

Finish: Quite sharp and short.

Comment: Well worth looking out for.

Score: 7.6

Taster

Nose: Nutty/bran notes to start then chestnut and dried coriander which drifts into lemon zest, cake mix and linseed oil. water brings out a bready/raisined quality.

Palate: The nutty/oily interplay continues allowing the flavours to spread across the palate. Roasted notes with a hint of honey and the merest touch of smoke.

Finish: Dry and slightly short.

Comment: Balance and character. Recommended.
