A hint of smoke and plethora of other delicate aromas. Primroses and sandalwood, faint marzipan and passion fruit. Stunning.

Palate

Delicate, with very firm malt and gentle spice.

Finish

Relatively flat, dependent on a burnt mallow and vanilla oakiness.

Comment

Fabulous whisky, though never quite living up to the expectation built by the astonishing nose.
