Tasting Notes

Nose

Light and quite high-toned, even slightly yeasty with a hint of grass, melon. Fairly plain. Stewed fruit, quince jam, rhum vieux.

Palate

Dusty. Powdered lime, yeast and decent intensity. Fresh and fruity and young with good mid-palate sweetness.

Finish

Slightly sour and not wholly balanced.

Comment

Has that slightly edgy quality of a spirit that hasn't quite resolved itself with the oak.
