Taster

Nose: Gooseberries with delightfully fresh barley, a sprinkling of unrefined sugar and gentle oak.

Palate: A busy malt boasting an extraordinary degree of complexity for a lowlander.

Finish: Light and elegant with the fabulous malt lingering to the death.

Comment: A must for those in search of the best a distillery can offer. Distilled when the stills performed in perfect harmony.

Taster

Nose: Dubbin. Linseed. Flowery

Palate: Pastry. Malty. Sweet. Butterscotch. Spicy. Straight-ahead. Uncomplicated.

Finish: Very clean and crisp.

Comment: This seems to me the definitive light tasting (triple-distilled) Lowlander. In theory, such whiskies mature young, but this has aged beautifully.
