Taster

Nose: Rich, oaky. A lot of toffee. Some outdoor notes. Bracken, humus, moss. Malty aromas slowly make their way through the ground. Quite complex. Sherry notes.

Palate: Smooth and sweet at first with a superb mastering of the alcohol. Then\rdries out on spices and oak.

Finish: Dry but with an enticing toffee and crème brûlée come back.

Comment: A whisky which delivers more maturity than the age as stated. Quite\rsurprising, in the best way.

Taster

Nose: Big, deep and fruity. Sweet with cake notes - candied peels, nuts (Brazil/chestnut), light oak-nuttiness, damson and plumped-up plums.

Palate: Dundee cake, pecan then mulberry jam. Light tannins balancing the thick\rfruits.

Finish: Long and juicy.

Comment: Wholly matured in port pipes. Shows great balance and style for a 12 Years\rOld and is marked accordingly.
