Tasting Notes

Arthur Motley

Taster

Nose: Fudge, wet grass, lemon, peach and white breadcrumbs. There was a grubbiness to this nose that didn't appeal.

Palate: Some astringent citrus, jelly babies and a little yeasty, breadiness.

Finish: Sourness with a little spice.

Comment: A little sour for me.

Score: 7

Taster

Nose: Stewed apple, estery coffee grounds, planed wood. Hints of complexity.

Palate: Sweet and highly concentrated. A battle between fruit and oak. Lacks personality. Dislikes water.

Finish: Hot and feisty.

Comment: It's hard to get excited about.
