Taster

Nose: Sweet, ripe red apples. Pears. Blackcurrants. Summer fruits. Lemon zest. Honey. Chocolate cake.

Palate: Big, rich, firm, confident. Pears, first poached in port, then coated in a Valrhona sauce.

Finish: Long, urbane, elegant. Organic chocolate coated ginger. Toasted coconut.

Comment: Luxuriant without decadence. Aristocratic.

Nose: Ripe fruit bowl, marker pens and parsnips! With water more woodiness appears along with Peach Schnapps and marzipan.

Palate: Apricot jam, treacle toffee and lots of European oak. With water a light mintiness and camphor character.

Finish: Malty, with blood pudding, and European tannins.

Comment: Sweet, filling, rich and satisfying. An impressive afterdinner drop.
