Reminded me of an Armagnac on the nose, then drew me to bourbon lands. The palate is not as rich as the nose. But nothing unpleasant.

Nose: Prickly. Oak chips. Crab apples drying in the attic. Tobacco leaves. Burnt wood. Develops on buttery notes. Toffee. Caramel. Pecan pie. Enticing
Palate: Very sweet. A bit too soft, even slightly watery at palate. Clove honey. Mint caramel. The oak and spice influences cover the fruit.

Taster
Nose: Rich with a cedar edge. Silky sweet black fruits with dark chocolate touch of stewed tea, dried plum.
Palate: Juicy and fat with a similar black fruit undertow to the previous Dalmore. This has more figs and a riper feel, almost like a vintage port. Seems to have great maturity,a dusty wooded quality. Dense.
Finish: Long, gentle and smooth.
Comment: A sexysiren clad in blue velvet.
Score: 8.2
