This is a sweet blend that doesn’t do anything badly, but nothing spectacular either.

Nose: Aged grain, toffee and spirit. A hint of heather and some roast pork.
Palate: Light vanilla, some white grapes, blueberry and mint, with a hint of milky coffee.\n
Finish: Seaside toffee, oatcakes.\n
Comment: This is a sweet blend that doesn’t do anything badly, but nothing spectacular either.
Nose: An instant hit of toffee coated banana and crêpes! Dollops of sweet barley, chunky honey and estery fruit. Slightly winey and herbal with some lightly coffeed tannins appearing.
Palate: Not quite as exuberant as the nose, the natural oils have taken the edge off. Still densely honeyed with barley. Like the nose there is a winey fruit intimation and a touch of earth and herbal grain. \n
Finish: Good length, if a little austere. Lingering herbal grain. \n
Comment: After that wonderfully voluptuous nose the palate was a bit of an anti-climax, but it’s still a pleasant blend.
