Nose

An instant hit of toffee coated banana and crêpes! Dollops of sweet barley, chunky honey and estery fruit. Slightly winey and herbal with some lightly coffeed tannins appearing.

Palate

Not quite as exuberant as the nose, the natural oils have taken the edge off. Still densely honeyed with barley. Like the nose there is a winey fruit intimation and a touch of earth and herbal grain. \n

Finish

Good length, if a little austere. Lingering herbal grain. \n

Comment

After that wonderfully voluptuous nose the palate was a bit of an anti-climax, but it’s still a pleasant blend.
