ABV 46%

As a blend of Scottish and Irish whiskies this is certainly atypical, but it works well.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Very sweet, almost liqueur like with a green fruit note underneath: unripe plum mixed with kumquat and a sweet syrup note. Very creamy.

Palate: Big impact. Tingling alcohol. Some herbal notes. Gentle and clean with a hint of smoke.

Finish: Long, full and clean.

Comment: As a blend of Scottish and Irish whiskies this is certainly atypical, but it works well.

Taster

Nose: Malty. Fruit and fibre cereals. A touch of burnt applewood. Strawberry yoghurt. An intriguing floral note (wild rose?).

Palate: Sweet with a sour touch. Smooth, refreshing. With a wave of liquorice dying out on a spicy fringe. A hint of yeasty wash behind.

Finish: Medium, tangy, dusty. A nutty aftertaste.

Comment: Seems to have stored all the ingredients for a healthy breakfast. A morning dram? Quite inviting.
