Nose

Exotic. Damp straw, nut, malt, acacia. In time there's caramel, tarte tatin, dried pear, nuts.

Palate

Sweet, but with a dry, grippy, undertow. Good concentration: nuts, toffee. Firms towards the finish.

Finish

Where it happens: hazelnut, pears, dried fruits and nut bowl.

Comment

A new flavour and a valid one. Well handled. Just a little grippy for me.
