Taster

Nose: Peach melba, raspberries and whipped cream. Tinned stone fruits and a hint of grappa give this a vibrant nose to add life to the fruity notes.

Palate: Sweet cherries dipped in white chocolate. Angel cakes and tropical fruit juice. Really well balanced with excellent flavours that don’t shout too loudly. \n

Finish: The tropical fruits are given an extra layer of earthy spices in the finish, suggesting well matured liquid.\n

Comment: This could be the most perfect dessert whisky; pour in place of a sweet wine.

Taster

Nose: Opens with very creamy toffee / coffee, followed by herbal barley, acacia honey and hints of dried fruit – prunes in light syrup. Lovely depth with late hints of earth and wood smoke.

Palate: Again opening with the creamy toffee / coffee and a little sweetish wood spice. Very elegant with plenty of dried fruit and minerals on the middle.\n

Finish: Long and gently herbal with a lovely, slightly mouth-watering, citrus and a smidgen of drier spices.\n

Comment: Evocative and succulent. A beautifully balanced refill sherry matured dram.
