Nose

Earthy peat lurks behind honey and peaches in syrup. Barley and ginger snaps.

Palate

Vibrant fresh fruit notes, sweet wood smoke and prominent black pepper. A squeeze of lemon and some brittle toffee.

Finish

Medium in length, more pepper, plus aniseed and mild smoky tannins.

Comment

An accomplished mainland peated single malt.
