A sunny malt. Quite sharp and spirity but a pleasant aromatic freshness. Could be a thirst quenching for some. Water does not cut all edges.

Taster

Nose: Neat there's apple skin, some earthy smokiness and a slightly musty wood. Hay. Water brings out peat which grows in intensity. Pretty tense.

Palate: Highly aromatic and zesty with apple blossom then the smoke begins to drift through. Shows very good balance when water is added. Cayenne. Appetising. Just entering maturity.

Finish: Lightly nutty.

Comment: Drink over ice.
