Nose

Quite soapy and oily with rye-like herbal sherry and intense, gritty tannins. The richness of the malt balances the dryness of the cask well though.

Palate

Quite sweet and herbal with plenty of clean, softer, slightly toffeed sherry oak. \nFull but relatively straightforward.\n

Finish

A little dry and tannic with lingering spices and hints of chocolate and coffee.\n

Comment

I can’t say I’m getting much Highland character here, but as sherry monsters go, it’s ok.
