Taster

Nose: Intense. A fluxing mix of barbecue sauce, seaweed, wet sand, hot shells, chocolate, jalapeno, ripe pear/melon, smoked fish. Great balance between the maritime and the fruits.

Palate: Light to medium bodied. Once again great impact: lanolin, cordite, peat smoke, creels, seaweed, seashore. A weird elegance.

Finish: Long, smoked with a sweet finish.

Comment: A cracking whisky from a distillery that's right back on form.
