Nose
Lifted and mellow. Good, complex mix of floral, bracken top notes with plenty of spicy oak, malt and sweet fruit.
Palate
A sweet, rounded start with some honey and soft fruit, then it's given a good kick from the oak: tobacco, hazelnut and a whiff of smoke. Good feel. The oak comes to the fore as it develops.
Finish
Maybe just a little woody.
Comment
A powerful spicy malt.
