Taster

Nose: A lovely soft sweet nose of raspberry and white chocolate, nougat, pink wafers and red apples.

Palate: Soft apricot and Peach Melba with vanilla ice cream balanced with toasted oak. Uncomplicated and extremely morish.

Finish: Juicy fruit and then soft dryness on the finish.

Comment: As comforting as a country kitchen.

Score: 8.8

Taster

Nose: Wintergreen, fresh pine cones, lily of the valley and some hazelnut and praline. Apricots and varnish finishes off an inviting nose.

Palate: Succulent and juicy. This gives toasted pine nuts, starfruit, mango, fresh green grass, barbecue grilled pineapple.

Finish: Long and juicy, a lot to offer.

Comment: Three seasons in a pine forest in a glass. A really attractive whisky which is unctuous and juicy. Well done.
