Nose: Malty. Cereal. Oatmeal. Straw. Green tea. A touch of honey. Greengage.

Palate: Smooth and round. Sweet maltiness enhanced by a citrussy note. Quite\rappetising. Getting spicy. Ginger and white pepper.

Finish: Dry, spicy and soothing on a nutty touch

Comment: A pleasant dram, well structured and satisfying.

Taster

Nose: Sweet and soft with lots of vanilla, poached pear and a hint of anise. Just a\rlittle shy.

Palate: Rounded, sweet and creamy. A lovely pick-up of gentle spiciness, apple\rpuree, crystallised ginger. Succulent.

Finish: Lemon and apples.

Comment: Opportunistic marketing? Undoubtedly, but it's a cracking dram.
