The feel is good but it needs time to develop all the flavours. Four years old is just too early.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Weird. Like a garage, oily rags, but some sweetness behind.

Palate: It’s that sweetness which dominates the palate and gives an unctuous feel to the palate.

Finish: Green.

Comment: The feel is good but it needs time to develop all the flavours. Four years old is just too early.

Score: 7.2

Taster

Nose: Weird. Turpentine. A distant floral note. After this first offnote, some biscuity and spicy aromas. Slightly grainy.

Palate: Crisp and spicy. Pears cooked in ginger. Getting astringent at midpalate.

Finish: Astringent, a bit burning.

Comment: A strange dram. Lacks balance and maturity. The astringency is wiped out by a dash of water.
