Nose: Nutty. Oak is present. Seems to better integrate with toffee notes on time. Touch of honey. A faint smoky touch.

Palate: Smooth and soft. A little watery and bland. Opens up on spices with a nutty hint.

Finish: Dry,spicy,restrained.

Comment: A well-knitted dram,although suffering from being bottled at 40%.

Nose: Mellow and compact,vanilla,honey, then malty notes,cider and a toasty edge.

Palate: Creamy vanilla and chocolate laced with toastyness,cappuccino and subtle oak dryness,then a citrus and\rdried fruit garnish.

Finish: Oak asserts itself before crème brûlée and dark chocolate join in.

Comment: An ideal digestif,with flavours that resemble a medley of desserts.
