Complex, subtle and interesting, but not a dram to stay at home for. Go out, have fun!

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Poached pears, autumn leaves and rockpools. With water there is wet clay, lemon balm, warm brown bread and damp woodland.

Palate: Lemony, malty and dry to finish.

Finish: Digestive biscuits.

Comment: Complex, subtle and interesting, but not a dram to stay at home for. Go out, have fun!

Score: 7.3

Owen Barstow

Taster

Nose: Restrained at first, but developing coastal aromas: salt, iodine, drying seaweed.

Palate: Salty. Drying. Some lime and lemon notes (Margarita with a salted rim)? Cereal. Flavours become more precise with water.

Finish: Clean, crisp, and phenolic. Some late oily, caramel notes.

Comment: Youthful, and slightly understated, but heading in the right direction.
