Nose

Big smoke! Bog myrtle,seaweed,some linseed,smoked eel. Salty. In time some dubbin (oiliness). With water shows youth and a burning paper note.

Palate

Seems young.Has crunchy malt counterbalanced by some oiliness in the middle. Briny with hot peppers and a little pecan sweetness. The smoke is dominant on the back palate.

Finish

Young. Spent ashes and tarred rope. Hint of balsam.

Comment

Has considerable character. Fresh, young but for peat freaks only.
