A very pleasing dram with decent balance, but just a touch too discreet.

Taster

Nose: Distant and cool. Snuffed candle and muted fruitiness - someone left the\rbirthday cake out in the rain? Fresh fruit on ice, jasmine tea, a hint of smoke, daikon radish, pear juice and ozone.

Palate: Light and fine-boned with decent feel which saves it but still light for a 28yo.

Finish: Soft and quite short.

Comment: A very pleasing dram with decent balance, but just a touch too discreet.

Score: 7.6

Taster

Nose: Grassy, floral. Artichoke consommé, carnation. A deep and fresh aromatic\rprofile. Develops on citrussy notes. Lemon sherbet. Quite appetizing.

Palate: Satin-like texture. Sweet and smooth. Lemon drop with a touch of liquorice.\rTarragon. Becomes fizzy at midpalate Cough losanges.

Finish: Fizzy, drying on ground ginger.

Comment: A lively whisky. It has kept its vibrant freshness after a long maturation. With\ra charming grassiness.
