A bit dull, and there's no excuse for dull whisky.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Pears, lemon pith, soap suds and Swizzler lollies. With water more floral with a fragrant apple note like a Pink Lady. Almonds, Battenburg and a fading bouquet of lilies. A bit flat.

Palate: Sweet, with floral, some nectarine and a dried hay flavour. Thin.

Finish: Drying, with grassiness and oat biscuits.

Comment: A bit dull, and there's no excuse for dull whisky.

Score: 6.8

Taster

Nose: High nose burn and another which is a bit reluctant to open. Musky, wet leaves. Seems mature but also quite piercing.

Palate: Another which disappoints on the palate. A slight clinging quality with some sweet citrus notes, but overall it is light and short.

Finish: Little soapy.

Comment: A shy little furry woodland creature peeking out, then hiding again.
