Taster

Nose: Lots of citrus with orange fondant, orange blossom, mandarin segments and freshly peeled tangerine skin. Hints of manilla and hand soap.

Palate: Very juicy and mouthwatering with rhubarb jam and ripe plum emerging. Warming cassia, aniseed and cinnamon on the side of the tongue with a little lavender after time.

Finish: The syrup-like texture becomes waxy.

Comment: A very quaffable dram.

Taster

Nose: Mulled wine and cinnamon, ginger and green coffee beans. A hint of dark chocolate, it reflects the Christmas season when this was sampled.

Palate: Well balanced, a good mix of sweetness and smoothness with a hint of orange, satsuma and a really interesting back palate of ginger and honey spice.

Finish: A lovely sweet offering where the lingering finish is ginger, satsuma and mulled spices.

Comment: A really lovely whisky giving Christmas punch, spices and honey. A distilled mead.
