Nose: Heady and ample sherry notes. Morello cherry. Loads of vanilla. Old furniture.
Palate: Incredibly sprightly for its age. Speaks out. Trifle, toasted coffee, hint of smoke.
Finish: Very spicy. Cinnamon, ginger, hot paprika.
Comment: Bossily buoyant. Loses in delicacy what it gains in flavour and texture. Miles away from the Lowlands.
