Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: Fresh, with light notes of chaff, acetone and a whiff of hot plastic. Improves no end with water: dolly mixtures, lime blossom, muscat and lots of sweet American oak.

Palate: Soft and gentle with a lightly fizzy quality that opens up into crisp apple and light toffee.

Finish: Medium. Smooth.

Comment: A clean session drink.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: Fresh, lively, clean. A rich toffee creaminess teased by grassy and floral notes. Like breathing in a meadow field on a crisp September morning.

Palate: Sweet, smooth and caressing. Nutty flavours enhanced by a luscious mintiness (like minty fudges).

Finish: Long and dry. Clean also.

Comment: An excellent refreshing dram. Well balanced, rich and light at the same time. Very enjoyable with chilled water.
