Tasting Notes

Nose

Gooseberries, rhubarb and watermelon flavoured Jolly Ranchers. Hay and wet varnish.

Palate

Vibrant fruitiness and textured sweetness. More watermelon sweets and Turkish Delight. With time a dried fish or prawny element appeared.

Finish

Green, sappy oakiness, some smoked fish.

Comment

An elegant oaky whisky, but the dried fish element was only apparent after half an hour in glass; most people will have glugged this by then.
