Taster

Nose: Sweet yet slightly earthy. Hot bracken. New trainers, old cobbler's shop, peat. More intensity with water, light oak, apricot. Fresh chestnut mushroom.

Palate: Light smoke uncoiling over syrupy fruit, grass, spent fires. Quite ethereal.

Finish: Crisp and dry.

Comment: Good, but needs some oomph.

Score: 7.5
