A biggish-bodied Aberlour which helps to lengthen the complex effects of the double maturation.
15 Years Old, Sherry Wood
Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Beautifully mellow, sherryish, grassy with a little marzipan and mint toffee.
Palate: Enveloping, creamy and nutty with a teasing sherry and gentle peaty twist. Peppermint prickle.
Finish: Long, soothing, with a minty and spicy end.
Comment: A biggish-bodied Aberlour which helps to lengthen the complex effects of the double maturation.
Nose: Roses, candyfloss, slightly buttery.
Palate: Perfect balance of sherry and the malty, spicy, house character. The two elements are tightly combined, with the spicy flavours emerging slowly: nutmeg, aniseed and emphatic orange-flower.
Finish: Liquorice toffee. Mint.
Comment: Complex and sophisticated.
