Taster

Nose: Elegantly poised, dried fruit reclining on a bed of caramel sauce and butterscotch, with roasted almonds and spiciness mid-way.

Palate: Smooth, velvety texture with an integrated package of crème brûlée and chocolate sweetness, fruit trifle, hints of espresso, nutmeg and butterscotch.

Finish: Fruity chocolate with dry spicy oak.

Comment: A dram that combines disciplined flavours with delightful variations on a theme.

Taster

Nose: Grassy and floral. Meadow flowers. Bursting with spices. Gently toasted hazelnuts. Greengage jam. Opening up custardy notes.

Palate: Sweet and elegant. Rich creamy scrumptious flavours. Like a liquid bakewell tart.

Finish: Lingering, nutty and fruity. So satisfying.

Comment: The wine finish brings in sweetness and fruitiness but without masking the delicate grassiness and lightness of the Lowland style. A real cracker, perfect for a wake up call.
