Nose
Tangy, even prickly. Earthy, with a meaty note, oxtail broth. Then opening on sweeter notes. Rich toffee. Dried apricots. A hint of cappuccino. Enticing.
Palate
Smooth at first then crisp like raw silk. Spicy. Ginger and chili. The alcohol bite is not as strong as on the nose. Gets astringent.
Finish
Dry, spicy, and astringent.
Comment
Another oaky character. With a charming nose and a less complex palate. Water brings out more of the astringency.
