An attractive sipper, but only in decent mouthfuls. A good session whiskey...if one is allowed to say that in these moderate times.

Standard (Distillery or blended)
Nose: Warm straw, honey and lemon. Water makes it drier and brings out wet green ferns.
Palate: Clean light and crisp with a soft, vanilla led, mid-palate. Tropical fruit and a slightly chalky quality.
Finish: Clean and lightly nutty.
Comment: An attractive sipper, but only in decent mouthfuls. A good session whiskey...if one is allowed to say that in these moderate times.
Nose: Hand-rolling tobacco, a hint of ginger. More floral and fragrant notes emerge in time, and finally vanilla.
Palate: Oily mouthfeel, quite dry, with fudge and emerging spices.
Finish: Starting out spicy and drying.
Comment: A pleasant enough dram, but lacking real personality.
