Nose

Ashes, spent pine fire, lilac wood. Slightly sappy. Toffee, dried guava, but\rthe oak seems in charge.

Palate

Ripe and clean with some red fruits but a little dull with water as if the life has been sucked from it.

Finish

Dry.

Comment

Slightly over-active finishing cask has had a negative effect.
