That baby needed to be cradled in oak a few more years. It can hardly mutter a few aromas. Or is it just a maturation in a tired cask?

Taster

Nose: Spirity. Seems very young. Grassy. Freshly cut lawn. Lemon grass.

Palate: Sweet with a cheesy back note.

Finish: Tangy, not revealing much.

Comment: That baby needed to be cradled in oak a few more years. It can hardly mutter a few aromas. Or is it just a maturation in a tired cask?

Taster

Nose: It's green! It might be the colour, but there's a green olive brine/feta cheese note alongside creosote covered twine. Minty oily with some smoke.

Palate: Improves on the palate, oily and rich with fair grip. There's light coal smoke and the cheesy note doesn't intrude. Good length and balance.

Finish: Juniper and little smoke.

Comment: A quirky little number. Well worth a look.
