Nose: Exotic. Burnt notes: toffee, dry tea, citrus, walnut, raisin bread. A hint of dust with water.
Palate: Rounded with a sweet burnt note old apple barrels. Good concentration with a savoury edge over a light, raisined core.
Finish: Prickly with attractive spiky oak.
Comment: Exotic and strangely appealing. More intensity and better grip than the Burgundy finish.

Nose: Rich, buttery. Yes, Madeira.
Palate: Luscious and toffeeish, then sudden explosion of sand, salt and oak.
Finish: Stinging saltiness.
Comment: One of the most expressive 'Morangies.
