Taster

Nose: Without water – spirit and white pepper. Add some H2O and it comes alive: pear drops, sherbet and lily of the valley. This is cordial, sure to be diluted.\n

Palate: Big malty notes launch this, with white chocolate and pear drops again. Very fresh indeed. Must have water added to release these flavours. Lovely and delicate yet fruity and unctuous. \n

Finish: Light and delicate like a lemon meringue pie with whipped cream.

Comment: Warning: dilute! And you’ll discover Narnia through the wardrobe.

Taster

Nose: Intense, sweet barley, toasted toffee and herbal fruit. Ever so slightly soapy with an almost Irish-like character. Hints of over ripe banana and boiled sweets.

Palate: Soft and creamy. Again comparisons with an Irish are quite justified. Banana on the middle with the developing sweetness, amazingly outdoing the alcohol. \n

Finish: Creamy with hints of banana and lingering barley notes. \n

Comment: You would have thought at this ABV it needs water, but that just makes it overly sweet and confected.
