Nose
Behind fruitiness is a curious earthy and mechanical character, exhaust fumes and rusty cans, and maybe even a little tarriness.
Palate
Some stewed fruit and some oaky, cinnamon spice suggesting age.
Finish
Drying, tingling oak leaving a lasting bitterness.
Comment
A strange cask, which has produced an unusual malt whisky. Could be to some people's tastes but not mine.
