Taster

Nose: Very light but aromatic. New make fragrances. Herbal, floral. Dry hay. Sweet meadow flowers. Wild garlic. Water brings out briny garnish.

Palate: Sweeter than expected. Light-bodied. Sharp and tangy. Malty and herbal flavours. Toasted hazelnuts. Definitely needs water.

Finish: Warm, nutty, dry.

Comment: Nose better than palate. A tired cask?

Score: 6.8

Taster

Nose: VERY heathery nose along with macadamia nut, biscuit, dry, hot bracken.

Palate: Clean and quite a sweet malty/nutty start. Good feel mid-palate. Very fresh and clean.

Finish: Heather. Biscuity.

Comment: A good, straightforward Jura.
