Taster

Nose: Rounded and sweet mix of raisin and orange pulp. Dried flowers, gingerbread,dried banana skin and a lightly dusty/nutty note. Chocolate, black banana and fruit cake.

Palate: As sweet and concentrated as the nose suggests. Ripe dark fruits,vanilla custard and prunes. Touch of oak giving a needed balance and grip. Some cumin. Unctuous.

Finish: Lots of raisin.

Comment: All very gentle and softly flowing. It just lacks a little grunt.

Nose: Shy,restrained at first. Fruity. Autumn fruit. Cooked apples,medlars. A hint of boiled chestnut. Unwinds gracefully. Creamy. Fresh hazelnut.

Palate: Sweet and smooth. Velvety. Hazelnut toffee. Biscuity. Apples cooked in\rvanilla and topped with custard.

Finish: Delicate,sweet and nutty.

Comment: What a beautiful dram! Finely chiselled by time and the use of good casks.\rThere's nothing like TLC!
