Tasting Notes

Nose

Crushed leaves and apricot: an unusual, lively combination but dulled by some vanilla.

Palate

Lively on the palate with an intensely sweet maltiness pitted against some starker, spicier oaky notes. First-rate balance.

Finish

The bitter-sweet style plays out a long finale with some hints of java coffee creeping in.

Comment

An easy-going and well preserved oldie with reasonable complexity.
