Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Greenish tinge. A little musty to start, bleated fruit with plenty of cask influence (bung cloth) alongside marzipan and green plum. Intense. Water brings out a floral perfume.

Palate: Sweeter than the nose and a slight vegetal quality reminiscent of agave. Piercing.

Finish: Fairly hot.

Comment: Has a punchy refreshing quality. Worth a look.

Taster

Nose: Treacle toffee.

Palate: Smooth, marshmallow, middle. Dairy toffee. Scottish tablet.

Finish: After all that comfort confectionery, a late, loud, explosion.

Comment: Lusty, voluptuous. Finishes with a bang.
