Nose

Light to medium-bodied. Attractive earthy notes with some smoke, a hint of bashed neeps. Gentle, subtle and malty.

Palate

Soft and rounded, with butterscotch, light pepperiness, then the earthy, lightly smoky character reappears. Well balanced.

Finish

Light, short, earthy.

Controlled. A very drinkable young Macallan.
