Interesting aromatic profile but the alcohol strength makes it too harsh. Water does not soothe it, and that makes it difficult to really appreciate for me.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Malty. Digestive biscuits. An earthy note too. Humus, wet leaves. In time dried fruit (apricot). Old leather.

Palate: Crisp and fizzy. Even prickly. The alcohol bites at first then a toffee sweetness calms the game.

Finish: Dry, leaving a dusty feel.

Comment: Interesting aromatic profile but the alcohol strength makes it too harsh. Water does not soothe it, and that makes it difficult to really appreciate for me.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: Deep earth tones, ploughed fields, leaf mulch. Dried apricots and papaya. A\rnote reminiscent of old bound books, leather armchairs.

Palate: Spirity at first then those earthy notes come through with hard Harrogate\rtoffee, ginger snap biscuits and Chantilly cream.

Finish: Lush and lovely.

Comment: Nice stuff, balanced and intriguing.
